1. Overview
Since all AnnaFurniture furniture is custom-made to your exact specifications, our cancellation and refund policy differs from standard retail. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.
2. Cancellation Before Manufacturing
If you cancel your order before manufacturing has begun:
- Within 48 hours of advance payment: Full refund (100%) within 7 working days
- After 48 hours but before manufacturing starts: 85% refund (15% retained for design work and administrative costs)
3. Cancellation During Manufacturing
Once manufacturing has commenced:
- Within first 25% of production: 50% refund of total order value
- Between 25-50% of production: 30% refund of total order value
- Beyond 50% of production: No refund (materials have been cut and assembled to your custom specifications)
4. Cancellation After Delivery
After furniture has been delivered and installed:
- Cancellation is not possible as the furniture is custom-made to your measurements
- If there are quality issues, our warranty and rectification policy applies (see Section 7)
5. Refund Process
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to order@AnnaFurniture.shop
- Refunds are processed within 7-10 working days of approval
- Refunds are made to the original payment method (bank account for NEFT, UPI ID for UPI payments)
- Cash payments are refunded via bank transfer (NEFT)
6. Design Changes vs. Cancellation
If you want to change your design rather than cancel:
- Minor changes (colour, handle style): Usually accommodated at no extra cost if manufacturing has not progressed past that stage
- Major changes (dimensions, layout): May incur additional charges and timeline extension
- Complete redesign: Treated as a new order; previous work charges apply
7. Quality Issues and Rectification
If delivered furniture has quality issues:
- Manufacturing defects: Free repair or replacement within warranty period
- Dimensional errors (our fault): Free correction or remake
- Finish issues: Free touch-up or refinishing
- Hardware malfunction: Free replacement under hardware warranty
Report issues within 48 hours of installation for immediate resolution. Issues reported later are still covered under warranty but may take longer to resolve.
8. Non-Refundable Situations
- Change of mind after manufacturing has completed
- Colour/shade variations within acceptable industry standards
- Natural wood grain variations
- Damage caused by client during or after installation
- Issues arising from incorrect measurements provided by client
9. Consumer Protection Act Compliance
This policy complies with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. If you believe your consumer rights have been violated, you may approach the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum in Bengaluru.
